Welcome to Luther Burbank Middle School

At the Luther Burbank Middle School, we join together in partnership with our community to foster life-long curiosity and love for learning. Our collective purpose is to build wisdom, knowledge, respect, responsibility, and compassion by engaging the head, hands, and heart of each one of our students. We embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, and we hold high expectations for all learners so that each may achieve to his or her fullest potential.                            ~ Laura Friend, Principal

Principal's Message

arrowsPrincipal's Update
I hope this message finds everyone well and enjoying the increasingly crisp New England weather. Hard to believe that we will be donning sweaters and jackets before too long! We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our Luther Burbank Open House this Tuesday, September 19th. The evening will begin in the Mary Rowlandson auditorium at 6:00 PM. Just prior to Open House, a Title 1 Parent Information session will be held in the Burbank library at 5:30. The Title 1 presentation will conclude prior to the start of Open House. The purpose of this evening is to provide you with an opportunity to meet our staff and learn important information about our school programs, curriculum, and expectations. Open House is not a venue for individual conferences. Parent teacher conferences will be held in early November. We hope you will be able to join us on Tuesday!
