Best Buddies
The Best Buddies program at Luther Burbank was one of the first officially chartered middle school chapters, dedicated to establishing mutually enriching one-to-one friendships to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities. Best Buddies was founded as an organization in 1989, and now includes more than 1400 chapters across the world. We are proud to be part of the Best Buddies International organization.
Our buddies meet at least monthly on the first Tuesday of each month from 2:15-3:05 for an after school activity, with additional activities added during the school year. Our proposed schedule is as follows:
October 4, November 1, December 6, January 3, February 7, March 6, April 3, May 1.
