Welcome to Luther Burbank Middle School

At the Luther Burbank Middle School, we join together in partnership with our community to foster life-long curiosity and love for learning. Our collective purpose is to build wisdom, knowledge, respect, responsibility, and compassion by engaging the head, hands, and heart of each one of our students. We embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, and we hold high expectations for all learners so that each may achieve to his or her fullest potential.                            ~ Laura Friend, Principal

Principal's Message

arrowsPrincipal's Update
Thank you to all of our families for joining us during last week’s Open House. We hope that you enjoyed the evening. We appreciate the partnership we share with you and want you to know that our doors are always open to any questions, concerns, and thoughts you may have as we move forward into the year. This week’s Bulletin is our “Extra-Curricular Bulletin.” We are proud AND excited to offer numerous extra-curricular offerings at Luther Burbank this school year. Please look through the offerings with your child and encourage your child to consider participating in one, two, or even more opportunities. Extra-curricular opportunities are an excellent way for students to explore different interests and to develop new friendships. With so many offerings, it may be hard to decide!
