DESE. Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

As a reminder, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education launched the MCAS Family Portal this summer, giving families online access to their student's individual MCAS results. Preliminary results have been available since August, and families received information about how to access their child's registration code and login instructions via secure email in August.

What's new: Final results, including student growth information and comparisons to school, district, and statewide results, are now available in the MCAS Family Portal. Families will be able to download Individual Student Reports (ISRs) starting September 29.

A change from past years: Access through the Family Portal has replaced full mailing of individual student reports. If your family would like a hard copy of your child's MCAS report, please reach out to Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning Laura Friend at lfriend@nrsd.net.

Questions About Your Child's Results? MCAS results are one important piece of information about your child's learning, alongside classroom work, report cards, and other measures. If you have any questions about your child's results, please reach out to your child's principal.

If you haven't yet activated your child's account in the MCAS Family Portal and would like to do so, please contact your child’s school for your child’s Registration Number.

Parents/Guardian can access the Family Portal at mcasfamilyportal.emetric.net. A Quick Start Guide, FAQs, and translated resources are available on the DESE website at https://www.doe.mass.edu/mcas/family-portal/default.html.
